Party @ Zoofari

My sis and I were looking for a place to celebrate the first birthday of her Daughter, Castielle.
We had some criteria in choosing one.  The place should be clean, presentable, can accommodate about 40 guests, and it should make the guests specially the little ones enjoy the day.

and we found.....Zoofari.

The first time I went to see the place, I felt I was in another world.

No need to decorate it with balloons, because the room itself is festive as it is.  But, what is party without one.

They have caterers, but food reserved for 24 I think is not enough for 24 people.  Good thing we brought in Lechon (roasted pig)!

This is the wall that I am talking about, so realistic.

This is the playground area, they sell  stuff here,  hotdogs, popcorn, and  other memorabilia.
It's smells like yummy popcorn with butter here....smells heavenly!

Anybody can play here, from age 1 to 101....
What F.U.N!!!!

They have very accommodating staff there too.  Great service and very friendly.

It was a fun-filled day and a memorable birthday celebration for our dear Castielle!

D' Leonor Inland Resort

The newly constructed wavepool is the main attraction of the  resort and it is a great place to have that dip and plunge you want.

The place is not as crowded as the other resorts thus you can have that exclusive-feel you need for your relaxation.

Their Raging river section is a must-try since you’ll enjoy the wrath of waves in this part of the pool.

Dahican's coastline is met with big waves
coming from the Pacific Ocean....great for skim boarding, surfing even kayaking.

Angel In Disguise

I came across this song Angel In Disguise by Corinne May, a Singaporean Singer/songwriter who played the piano at age 5.   Much of her music has been inspired by her relationship with God.  We have Angels in disguise in our everyday life, we sometimes don't realize they are just there.  Little things they do....like opening the door for you if your hands are full.  People who texts or calls you just to say "Hi." and asks you "How are you doing?".  Ordinary people who just smile at you when you are at the lowest point in your life.  God sends His angels in disguise, just to let us know.....He cares and love us.  Have you seen one today?

She Was Mine (Cover)

My first cover...with my son Kyle Raphael, an AJ Rafael song "She Was Mine".  Great singer/songwriter.

I Love Painting

 I love painting.....

The Grand Canyon

This is my very first Acrylic painting on canvass.  If  I am not mistaken "Toto" was the student teacher at that time. He helped me with the mixing of colors.  I was 19 when I had my first one-week workshop on Painting.  Beginners luck!

This is my second painting. I would like to call it "Still". This is a reproduction from my teachers book. He asked me to paint this particular picture, my first time to do fruits, it is hard because it has to appear real. Painted on canvass using acrylic paint. Again....

Acrylics are extremely versatile and fast drying and can be used straight from the tube. Good for beginners, and is water-based.

My papa showed me a painting, it was on the back cover of a Reader's Digest, he asked me to try and make it for him.  It was called "The Bird Man".

         * a reproduction

Painted in 1999....no subject in mind, so I grabbed my mama's kitchen utensils and started painting, this took me an hour or two to finish.

In the Garden

I was so inspired one night ( I can't remember why?).  Made my canvass and started to paint this yellow flower, did this painting in less than an hour. What I had in mind was, it has to be colorful, now I'm wondering was I so happy that moment???  hmmmm.

Painted this in 1999. I called it "Green"

"I love painting the garden and everything in it." painted

in 1999.
