The Grand Canyon
This is my very first Acrylic painting on canvass. If I am not mistaken "Toto" was the student teacher at that time. He helped me with the mixing of colors. I was 19 when I had my first one-week workshop on Painting. Beginners luck!
This is my second painting. I would like to call it "Still". This is a reproduction from my teachers book. He asked me to paint this particular picture, my first time to do fruits, it is hard because it has to appear real. Painted on canvass using acrylic paint. Again....
Acrylics are extremely versatile and fast drying and can be used straight from the tube. Good for beginners, and is water-based.
My papa showed me a painting, it was on the back cover of a Reader's Digest, he asked me to try and make it for him. It was called "The Bird Man".
* a reproduction
Painted in 1999....no subject in mind, so I grabbed my mama's kitchen utensils and started painting, this took me an hour or two to finish.
In the Garden
I was so inspired one night ( I can't remember why?). Made my canvass and started to paint this yellow flower, did this painting in less than an hour. What I had in mind was, it has to be colorful, now I'm wondering was I so happy that moment??? hmmmm.
Painted this in 1999. I called it "Green"
"I love painting the garden and everything in it." painted
in 1999.
